Leather is 50% stronger than other upholstery and has a life up to 15-20 years.
Leather naturally breathes so it stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Natural oils prevent cracking, flaking, peeling and tearing, even along seam lines.
With age leather becomes softer while still retaining its shape and vibrance.
Finished with special dyes to create a deep, rich color throughout the life of the leather.
Simply requires a mild dusting or wiping to keep it looking vibrant for years to come.
With so many leather options, we want to help choose what’s right for you.
Top Grain Leather: Leather that has been produced from the top or outermost layer of cowhide. If labeled as top-grain but not full-grain, the leather might be lightly sanded of buffed to reduce natural markings and variations in the grain.
Split Leather: produced from the center section of a hide. This is the cut below the top-grain surface cut. Once finished, this section is heavily pigmented and then embossed with an artificial grain or texture. Split leather feels thicker and tougher to the touch.
Artificial Leather: also known as synthetic leather or faux leather, is a man-made material that is designed to mimic the appearance and, to some extent, the feel of genuine leather.
iClean® Leather is a revolution in the furniture industry. These leathers are finished to repel spills and highly resist dirt and stains. The leather is treated to help families keep their leather furniture clean and looking new.
In addition to protecting against the everyday "dirt", this protection does not affect the softness. The wax technology allows the natural graining to be seen with beautiful contrast and adds a special sheen.
iClean® Leather meets all La-Z-Boy chemical compliance requirements.
Innovative technology coats the surface of leather, repelling spills before they turn into stains.
For most spills, simply blot with a paper towel. For tougher spills, use a mild soap and water mix.
Luxurious feel and exceptional comfort, available in a variety of colors and patterns.
